It’s not very often that the Blue Angels roar overhead prior to a wedding ceremony’s start. They must have known that Matt and Natalie were about to get married, because the noise that they created represented an entire sky’s worth of applause. This day at Deception Pass reflected Matt and Natalie’s personalities well: sweet, relaxed, and a whole lot of sunshine. This wedding had the perfect outdoor setting (one close to Natalie’s heart), along with close family members and a barbecue reception. One of my favorite moments happened when Natalie appeared out of the blue, eager to get married to her groom. This first look set the pace for the rest of the ceremony and reception, and it was lovely. The rest of the day was just as relaxed. Here are a few highlights from their sunny afternoon on the beach:
