“We thought, ‘Where can we go and conquer’?” Although this statement was in regards to their honeymoon, I have no doubt that this mantra will mark Jake and Abby’s marriage for the rest of their lives. These two; I don’t have words for how joyful they are together. A few months prior to meeting (or knowing about) Jake, his name came up when Abby and I met over coffee before her 7:30 am class. She gushed about how amazing this boy from school was. She told me about their first adventure and about how their schedules matched up almost perfectly. In the chaos of nursing school and the lack of rest that comes with it, she talked about how they haven’t stopped hanging out since. When I met Jake a month or so later, it all made sense. He looks at her with such a deep admiration, and he holds her close whenever they’re together. Most of their early-morning engagement session was made up of trees, coffee, kisses, and cuddles. Thank you, Abby and Jake. Your love for one another and for life is so visible and I am honored to have had the opportunity to capture these photos. I cannot wait to celebrate with you on you on your wedding day.
