Banu’s Portrait Session

November 16, 2015

Nothing beats an afternoon over delicious food, a merry time of catching up, and a successful portrait session. Here’s a peek into a shoot of this beautiful Sri Lankan experiencing her first FULL season of Fall in Washington. This girl has a special place in my heart; her family opened their home to my husband and I when we were staying in Sri Lanka at the beginning of the year. They fed us, housed us until we secured a flat elsewhere (which they arranged for us), and welcomed us to work alongside of them for four months. Zach and I are eternally grateful for the immense hospitality shown by Banu and her family; their selflessness and outward expression of Jesus’ love is felt by everyone that they encounter. Now that Banu is in the PNW, this means that we get to see her more often and plan more Sri Lankan cooking excursions. Oh glory, glory.
